GBLS’ attorneys and paralegals provide legal representation to low-income individuals who haven't been able to receive legal help elsewhere, including:
- Unhoused families in need of shelter
- Families living in poverty who seek subsistence benefits
- Low-income renters who are at risk of becoming unhoused
- Survivors of domestic abuse and their children who seek protection
- People with disabilities who need income and medical benefits
- Immigrants who have fled persecution and seek refuge and safety
- Low-wage workers who need to recover wrongfully withheld wages and benefits
