"John,” an electrician’s apprentice, was able to secure unemployment benefits after being fired from his job. His employer claimed he had been involved in an accident with a company vehicle and failed to report it.
At a hearing with the Department of Unemployment Assistance, the employer and a witness both testified. With legal representation and thorough preparation, John was able to clearly explain that at the time of the accident, he was at his own car, parked several spaces away from the company van.
