Areas of impact advocacy include:

- Advocating for legislation to expand the Massachusetts Earned Income Tax Credit to include taxpayers who file using Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs)
- Advocating for legislation to allow low-income taxpayers to make an “offer in compromise” to settle state tax debt
- Advocating for increased funding for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) free tax preparation services
- Raising awareness about the increased marginalization of taxpayers based on immigration status
